Establish a project. Identify one or more tasks for that project. Search for resources with the appropriate skill sets who are available during the task time frame. Request them for the project. If they accept and their manager approves...you're done! It's that easy.

Project Management

Once resources are assigned, budgets are created based on billable rates. As time is charged, actual values are updated allowing managers to view percent complete on up to the minute dashboards and reports. It is also easy to identify the "health" of tasks, projects and project groups to quickly act on issues of budget or schedule.

Project4 is tightly integrated with Elite Professional Management Software. Clients and Resources need only be set up once and time entry is posted simultaneously to projects and matters. Thus users of Project4 receive the benefits of superior scheduling and project management coupled with the advantages of world class billing, receivables management and general ledger modules.

Project4's inherent reporting tools create easy to read reports by project, project group, resource and organization group to help management maximize utilization, act on project variances, improve forecasting, and enhance firm profitability.

Technology

Project4 is a modern technology solution built on industry standard tools. At Project4's core is a Microsoft SQL database. The middle tier is ASP.Net allowing users to connect via the internet from anywhere in the world, without the need to install specialized software on their local PC. Project4 also employs Microsofts's SQL Reporting Services to deliver accurate, timely, targeted reports to both firm and project managers.
